Fue tan trascendente su papel que Toei Animation le hizo un homenaje más que merecido por su participación en el Torneo del Poder.
En un tuit del estudio se lee que "En reconocimiento a los grandes esfuerzos del Androide 17 en el Torneo del Poder, de ahora en adelante, el Sitio Oficial de Dragon Ball renacerá como el Sitio Oficial del Androide 17". Al final, se trató de una broma del día de los inocentes en Japón pero de algún modo sí le dieron honor a quien honor merece.
