This year, Mexico represents almost a third part (32%) of the listīs total value, which is $33,706 million dollars, 19.71% more compared to 2012.

Televisa amongst the most valuable brands in Latin America

Last September, international association Millward Brown published the list of "the 50 most valuable Latin American brands 2013", which are selected based on their profits and acceptance among consumers.

Within the telecommunications segment, Televisa was ranked in number 3, with a brand equity of $3,281 million dollars. It should be noted that the selection criteria for being included in this classification list is based on two major points: the brand should be proprietary of a company listed on the stock exchange, and it must report profits with a positive cash flow.
