TV series of the moment, The CQ, triumphs at the Kid's Choice Awards 2013
Mexican TV series The CQ, produced by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo, was the big winner at the Kid's Choice Awards 2013, in which the child and teen audience vote for their favorite ones.
In this fourth edition of the Kid's Choice Awards, hosted by Jaime Camil, The CQ achieved 4 of the 18 awards called "blimps", for the categories: Favorite Actress, Ale Müller (Clara); Favorite supporting actress, Fernanda Urdapilleta (Jenny); Supporting Actor, Harol Azuara (Monche); and the coveted Favorite Show or Series.
The Kid's Choice Awards recognizes the child audience by means of the children's votes, and the awards achieved by The CQ, a co-production of Televisa and Cartoon Network, ratified that it is boys' favorite show today.
The closing of the Kid's Choice Awards 2013 was precisely the moment when The CQ's cast received their awards, just as the big winners of this ceremony, and were covered with slime, the green viscose substance that characterizes this Nickelodeon's awards.
The series' success is so big that it is already preparing the theatrical version named: "CQ, the musical". This theatre production will premiere next October 5, in Mexico City's Teatro Aldama.
