Televisa and Lionsgate bring together their experience and resources to form Pantelion Films, a film production and distribution house focused on the Hispanic Market in the U.S. which includes over 26 million frequent moviegoers.

Televisa and Lionsgate bring together their experience and resources to form Pantelion Films, a film production and distribution house focused on the Hispanic Market in the U.S. which includes over 26 million frequent moviegoers.

Pantelion Films will distribute eight to ten films per year during the next five years. Four to five movies will be produced internally each year, and four to five will be acquired.

Pantelion is headed by the President of the Board Jim McNamara, director of Panamax Films, and by Paul Presburger, CEO and head of negotiations and strategy for Pantelion.

The company has agreements with America's three main movie exhibitors (Regal Entertainment, AMC Cinema y Cinemark), which together represent over 50% of the country's movie screens. The new company has also initiated negotiations with other important film exhibitors.
